Communi-Tea members support Arena Church to spread festive cheer.

This holiday season, the spirit of giving is alive and well in Mansfield, thanks to the young people attending Communi-Tea. The group, which meets every Monday from 12pm to 2pm, chose to lend their support to Arena Church to put together festive food hampers for vulnerable members of the community. These hampers, filled with essential items and seasonal treats, will bring joy and comfort to those who need it most during the festive period and we were delighted to support our host venue in this fantastic initiative.

As we approach the holidays, the efforts of these young people serve as a reminder of the importance of community and the power of coming together to support those in need. Communi-Tea continues to be a beacon of hope and connection for unemployed young people in Mansfield, providing a free to access weekly drop in for professional and peer support. The group offers a safe space for mentoring, socialising, and reducing social isolation—a vital service in a time when many young people feel disconnected from their community. By participating in the assembly of these festive hampers, the young people have not only contributed to a worthy cause but have also gained a sense of purpose and belonging - we couldn't be prouder of everything they contributed and achieved in such a short space of time!

If you'd like to get involved in Communi-Tea, please come along to our next sessions in the new year. There's no need to book in advance and we look forward to meeting you.
