Whilst many other service providers are closing their doors, IAF are committed to supporting young people in need during this challenging time. Our updated support plan sets out what changes you can expect to see across our services during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mentoring – Our mentors are still available Monday – Friday for telephone and online support and you can also speak to your mentor to try out our new virtual mentoring sessions! On hand to offer you advice and guidance to support with your well-being during isolation and social distancing. Online Hub – The IAF Hub is on hand to ensure you have access to information, advice and guidance when your designated mentor may not be available. This is your one-stop shop for Job vacancies, useful contacts, wellbeing advice and employability resources - request access now!
Community Projects – We are currently in the process of adapting our community and volunteering provision, to enable you to support your local community and follow government coronavirus guidelines. Communi-Tea – Our weekly community group has gone virtual! Daily meetings are now taking place via Zoom and online group chats to give you the opportunity to socialise during social isolation! Accredited Qualification – If you are looking for a productive way to fill your time IAF have developed an accredited personal and social development qualification to give you the opportunity to learn new and develop existing skills. Speak to your mentor if this is something you may be interested in.
