In a significant boost to its ongoing efforts, The Inspire and Achieve Foundation (IAF) has been awarded a £367k grant from The National Lottery Community Fund . The funding, granted in June 2024, will continue support for the IAF's impactful Talk mentoring programme and assist in developing a sustainable funding and marketing strategy.
The Inspire and Achieve Foundation, known for its dedication to empowering young people aged 16-26, continues to make remarkable strides in offering mentorship and guidance to those who need it most. Our Talk mentoring programme has been at the forefront of these efforts, providing person-centred support and encouragement to young people across Nottinghamshire, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their potential.
With this new Lottery grant, IAF will enhance and expand the current Talk mentoring programme, allowing us to reach more young people and extend the benefits of this service further into the community; addressing issues such as unemployment, social isolation, and lack of direction, providing much-needed support to those at critical junctures in their lives. The additional resources will enable us to recruit and train more mentors, enhance our support services through the provision of a free social activities programme and online peer support community, and deliver the funding stability to continue our essential work well into the future.
Pippa Carter, Director of The Inspire and Achieve Foundation, expressed her gratitude and excitement about the grant: "We are incredibly thankful to the National Lottery Community Fund for this generous support. This grant will be life-changing for so many and gives us the opportunity to strengthen our organisation, ensuring that we can continue to make a positive impact for years to come."
As IAF embarks on this new phase of growth and development, the support from the National Lottery Community Fund will undoubtedly serve as a catalyst for even greater achievements. IAF remains committed to its mission of inspiring young people and empowering them to achieve their best, and with this new funding, we are poised to make an even more substantial difference in the lives of NEET young people in Nottinghamshire.
