The IAF Youth Board is a platform where young people in Nottinghamshire can have a direct impact on the decisions and direction of our charity. As a Youth Board member, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our work remains youth-focussed and relevant. This isn't just about attending meetings—it's about making your voice heard and influencing change in your community.

What does being a Youth Board member involve?

As a Youth Board volunteer, you'll meet with fellow board members four times a year to discuss and evaluate the charity's projects. These meetings are your chance to share your thoughts on our youth-led initiatives, provide feedback on what’s working, and suggest new ideas for projects that could benefit young people in Nottinghamshire. Your insights will be taken seriously by our management team and trustees, ensuring that your ideas can help shape our future work.

Why should you join?

Joining the Youth Board is more than just a volunteer opportunity—it's a chance to be a leader in your community. You'll gain valuable experience in decision-making, teamwork, and project management. Plus, you'll be part of a supportive group of young people who share your passion for making a positive impact.
